BSA Motorcycle History

BSA England was originally a small arms company. It built weapons till around 1910.

However, in 1903 BSA produced an experimental 233cc motorcycle. At this time they moved into motorcycle production. BSA Models included: Firebird, Gold Star, Royal Star, Thunderbolt, Rocket and Victor.

In the late 1930`s they purchased Sunbeam. In 1944, they purchased Ariel. BSA went on to purchase Triumph, which eventually merged with Norton - Villiers.
