CAGIVA MOTORCYCLE HISTORY

Cagiva started in Italy in 1950.

Moved into the motorcycle business in 1978 after purchasing the Aermacchi factory from AMF-Harley Davidson, Italy.

In 1986, Cagiva purchased Husqvarna Motorcycles. Cagiva also purchased Ducati.

Cagiva is owned by brothers Claudio and Gianfranco Castiglioni.
