Dnepr Motorcycle History

Dnepr (Official name "KMZ", "Kiev Motorzykly Zavod"). Dnepr was founded in 1946.

The two-stroke 98 cc, Kievlyanin, was the first bike manufactured.

Dnepr went on to manufacture only sidecar bikes till the 1990`s.

The Dnepr 750 were used for Presidential escort during the Soviet Period. They are still used by the President Vladimir Putins escort.
