Scott Motorcycle History

Scott Motorcycle Company was a motorcycle manufacturer in the United Kingdom. The company was founded by Alfred A. Scott.

They were builders of street bikes and racers. There bikes won the Isle of Man in 1912 and 1913. During the first world war, production of civilian Scott motorcycles was halted, but resumed after with success.

The company went into voluntary liquidation in 1950. During the 1970`s, a reproduction Scott, called a Silk Scott, was produced.
